Our very own John & Sandy Halvorsen know what it’s like to walk by faith — literally! Local Duluthians most of their lives, and with various stints in local church ministry in Wisconsin, Europe, and Minnesota (including this church), John and Sandy have been called by God to do some rather unorthodox things.

After church planting in Europe for the better part of the 1990’s, God called the Halvorsen’s in 1998 to walk across America from north to south and west to east. They sensed God saying there is a change in season coming, and that there are tumultuous times ahead, and that people need to turn from their sins back to God.
